  3. Reality is like a puzzle-game you find pieces and add it where the connection fits. However once in a while someone is handing you a piece which does not belong to the puzzle but it connects on one side and looks okay. The problem with that is to this piece more fake pieces fit and the image they create looks consistent however it still doesn't belong. At some point the fake pieces block space for the real pieces. These Maga supporters build quite big fake puzzles already and the real pieces no long fit.

  4. A coup is when you try to jump the line to get power. There are multiple ways to "jump the line". Trump and his Co-Conspirators had a series of plans: Pre-Certification 1.1) "Either I win or it's fake" 1.2a) Stop the count during the counting when your numbers look better 1.2b) Stop the steal / pretend the vote is stolen when your numbers look worse / "The Dumps" 1.3) Discredit the election / Pretend fraud / Try to use the justice system to stay in power But this didn't worked out or perhaps they already assumed this would not work. So Plan 2 was started. 2.1) Pence refuse to certify the election results / The electors go back to the states so they can be replaced 2.2) The Fake electors give Trump the votes although Biden has won 2.3) The Electoral College and Congress announce Trump has won But since Pence did not cooperate with 2.1 they had to change it. 3.1) Some GOP controlled purple States force a vote in Congress to prolong the certifications 3.2) In the meantime the mob was aggravated and send to the Capitol to stop the certification by violence 3.3) The certification is delayed and the electors go back to the states to be replaced The rest is as 2.2 and 2.3 But the plan failed due to 2.1 and because 3.1 did not stop the certification. It was completed on the same day and Biden was officialy president. Trumps courtcases are not because of Plan 1 or his opinion about the election but about Plan 2 and Plan 3. And a coup does need to be successfull to be a coup. There are tons of failed coups. Hitler had a failed coup and was sentenced to prison. He took over Germany after release after a 2nd coup succeeded. The core issue is: Trump tried to stay in power by ignoring the election results and try to overturn the will of the American people. This is why he is now facing trial. In a normal democracy this would be seen as treason but America is not even willing to call it an insurrection because the GOP/Establishment did it. And Insurrection is much harder punished then misdemeanor.
