  2. 1) Humans are tribal. 2) In times of crisis the tribe shrinks (to make the problems more manageable) And then it just needs some charismatic bully promising "to deal with it" and voilá you have a little Trump a little Hitler a little Stalin a little Mao ... all of them have become leaders the same way.
