I wonder sometimes if the CRT thing in schools is used to somehow ban Critical Thinking one day by giving people the impression Critical Race Theory is Critical Thinking (ironically it uses Critical Thinking). And why? Critical Thinking is a tool to detect lies. What could possibly be the goal of a party of liars and grifters by making this a topic in schools?

  4. Mistakes and Failures are the best teachers of them all ... but only if you willing to learn from them. And in order to learn from it you must understand it. And in order to understand it you must accept it as a mistake. And in order to accept it as a mistake you must know about it it. So arguably to learn anything from history teaching the bad stuff is even more important then the good stuff. Because good stuff remains to this day but if the bad stuff is ignored or hidden you will just keep repeating it. Learning from history is the equivalent of heeding advice in order to avoid making the same mistakes - or - ignoring it and learn it the hard way by making the same mistakes.
