What angers me is that these GOP supporters make such easy prey for this practise. They cannot defend themselves against the deceiving statements. Just tell them things they like and pretend to care and voilá they shower you in money.

And because of people like him trust into politicians is at an all time low. People accuse politicians they are all corrupt and they getting every day more evidence for that. The inevitable generalization reduces any trust even in the ones who are decent and honest. The lies destroy everything. Lies destroy credibility and trust and trust is the basis of community, society and civilization.
