  2. Conway: " Their [our] job is to get the story" Objection! Their job is to report the story ... not make it ... without fear or favor and without changing, adding OR leaving significant things out. Fox and sadly a lot of media channels are guilty on some or even all counts.

  3. I thought a lot about why people seem to like being lied to? Wanne see my suggestions from over 3 years thinking about these topics and observing? #1 Some people are like little kids. Imagine a kid saying to you "read me a story" would you grab for Grimm's Tales or the Washington Post? Fox is just like that Grimm's Tales. Telling you what you want to hear ... not what you need to know. #2 Fox gives you something to be angry about and blame ... so you not have to be angry at yourself, blame yourself and eventually having to take the effort to solve your personel problems. Because if you can blame others for your problems you don't have to do anything because it's not your fault right? And yes ... is some kind of lazyness and with that very human. #3 People prefer comfortable lies over the uncomfortable truth. #4 People are so pathetic and insecure that they cannot take truth. It's too much for them already to handle. #5 The Sunk Cost Fallacy - Like the thing with the uncle with a goldmine who just needs 50k to make the gold flow again. The more you invested the more likely you pay more. And people trusted Fox and what they say so much ... they can't stop anymore. It would be a major betrayal. So they protect what they heared on Fox because admitting it was a con would mean you were conned and noone likes that.
