  2. It is a more fair system. Example ... Pass-1 Progressive Democrat: 35% Corporate Democrat: 25% Republican Candidate: 40% Winner: None. Noone has above 50%. Candidate with lowest is removed. And another pass. Those who voted for the Corporate Democrat now can pick another candidate most likely the other Democrat. Pass-2 Progressive Democrat: 60% Republican Candidate: 40% Winner: Democrats This system is not changing the votes. It only prevents that your vote goes to waste by "Splitting-the-vote" (when 2 or more candidates of the same side competes). It makes sure that every voter has a vote. In the old system 25% would have been ignored and 35% would not get their candidate although the Democrat Party had 60% in total. Of course this work the other way around as well, when Republicans have 2 or more candidate for example a centrist and a Maga Candidate.
