Bringing the control over womens freedoms back to states is nothing positive. Because they not do that to improve womens rights and freedoms but to diminish them. They could have gone beyond Roe vs. Wade on states-level but not below it. Roe vs. Wade was the last safeguard preventing them from going back in time to turn women back into treadwives.

"Bring it back to states" is their euphemistic (paint it better than it is) way to diminish rights for women locally in the states where they can since they cannot force it federally (yet). But given the chance they force their views on all Americans.

FYI: Roe vs. Wade did not allow abortions in the 3rd trimester when viability becomes an issue except in extreme cases ... but the right-wing in America tends to leave this little bit of information out

Because for them it is the ultimate form of humiliation and powerplay towards woman. When these bastards not only forced themselves against the will of the woman on them but also humiliate them further by leaving them with an unwanted pregnancy and child potentially for the rest of their life like a trophy. It is a very very sick mindset. And for fascists other things also matter. Having soldiers as cannonfodder, for power, to main control, having "purity" (genetic), uniformity or whatever. It is all very sickly intertwined between powerplay, lack of power, insecurity, lack of love and wish to be loved but not knowing what it really is, tons of humans flaws and needs and a cultural environment who lets them do that without serious consequences.

In fact there is a plan. They want to change if not even dissolve the department of education and change laws so state-schools and religious schools get equal status and become entitled to tax-payments like state-schools. At the same time they try to defund and dissolve state-school so there are only religious schools and private schools left.
