  1. Important thing to know about this. They use minorities as an excuse to get the power and control "to deal with it" but they will use that power to expand this control to other groups they don't like eventually ending up all people who just disagreeing with them or their methods.

  3. "Other-ing" is a vehicle to power using natural fears of humans about the unknown and exploiting ignorance. Which is especially working well in times of societal problems and economical turmoil of which we have lots of right now because humans are tribal and in times of crisis the tribe shrinks to make it more manageable which makes Other-ing much easier.

  4. I don't like this metapher. Please don't de-humanize people. And I cannot accept any threats of violence. Most Right-Winger are victims of circumstance just trying to survive and getting on with their life having accumulated tons of hate and anger and in this desperation listening to the wrong people.

  5.  @pierrebibeau9861  They have been told and convinced that trans and immigrants are the reason their rent is so high, they not find a job, their wage is so low, their healthcare is so unaffordable, the gas is so expensive, the food is expensive and bad. Fox and other right-wing pundits very cleverly channel the existent hate and nager away from the GOP and towards targets who cannot defend themselves ... like trans and immigrants and more and more other Americans who just happen to vote another party.
