  1. This is precisly the problem Jackson. They are too afraid to admit Trump is wrong because it would mean they were wrong about this and about Trump. It would mean accepting Trump lied to them and betrayed them all those years. And this is hard for every human being but especially if you invested so much of you into a person like a rally-goer.

  2. It's called reporting. Showing what is out there in reality, how are things, holding up a mirror to reflect reality to us. Jackson is adding his analysis and opinion to that but the reporting itself is free of comments or opinions people can speak their mind.

  3. Because "their" team can do no wrong. This happens when you are manipulated to see politics as a football match. Assume for a moment your team does a foul to get ahead in the game ... would you call it out? The problem is ... reality is not a game.
