  1. I heared that a lot about Trump rallys which makes be me believe a lot of the folks there come for the feel of community and belonging not necessarily for Trump. I think they would even come without Trump. And I guess a lot of them need this social gathering and interaction with other humans because they don't get that enough at home.

  2. Was the perfect way of questioning. Like "give me one" or "if there are so many give me the best". If there are so many it should be easy. And it reveals there is only a "feeling" of there is so much but if ask for specifics you don't get any and if you get one it's often so ridiculous you have to feel ashamed of even labeling it your best example.

  3. They want someone to tell them what to do (and to think). Sad but true studies shown some people prefer to follow orders because it's easier to live. Deciding and thinking about the best way is energy and time intensive and our genetics telling us to take the path of least resistence because it's saving energy.

  4. Trump is an entertainer. This is the only reason why they accept the lies and bs from him because he brings it in a funny way. However they laught at Trump not with Trump. He doesn't notice that because of a lack of self-awareness.

  5. You mentioned there something important which is overlooked at the left. Appealing to feelings. It's not done often enough because we tend to bring up reasoning and arguments which is scaring people like that because they cannot fight back and interpret it as a manipulation attempt. What we need is someone who is advocating with simple messages but positive feelings like love and hope and confidence to counter the always negative emotions of hate and anger on the right. People will always prefer hope over despair. You don't need to explain in detail what you planning to do but you need to be able to put your goals into 3 word slogangs for a successfull campaign. Leave out the details and add some compassion and hope instead.

  6. Let's keep it civil shall we. Besides stupidity and intelligence are not mutual exclusive. There are well educated Trump supporters doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc. who support Trump. And we all do on occassion stupid things. Things you know before doing they are bad for you and you still do it mostly because of feelings or instincts. The real problem is that people allow their feelings and instincts to control their better judgement.
