It's so terrible that Americans fall so easily for political ads so that an election practically is 50% pay-2-win via ads and the other the letter after your name. And this in turn makes media not talk about corruption / bribery / donations because you not bite the hand feeding you or cut the banch you sitting on.

They are often more clever in hiding these things especially on larger sums or if coming from foreign countries. They often use law firms or the so called Super-PACs to hide the real donor (for the papers).

See this is why progressive want more transparency in campaign finances to see these "links" and potential conflicts of interest. But instead they want to make it even less transparent and fight every attempt at making it more transparent like Senator Manchin who destroyed the voting rights reform bills because it contained a part about transparency.

Or simply annoying as hell.

Leaving significant informations out like that you received more than double that yourself is still lying. Lying by omission. Especially if you complain about it or try to use it to manipulate people like Beaubert is doing here.

Maybe some do that. Still better than the constant brainwashing by Fox. I cannot watch Fox for more than 3 minutes without detecting one or more misinformations or misrepresentations.
