  1. The problem is we produce it faster than the planet can convert it. So it accumulates in the atmosphere where it helps keeping the solar heat. With more heat/energy weather gets more intense and more water vapor can be stored in the atmopshere. Water vapor is 10 times worse than CO2 and can even hold more solar heat/energy. All this energy and water vapor is the engine for our weather. This is why everything gets more extreme.

  3. Generally you are right David EVs are safer regarding fire hazzard except a battery fire which is really really scary. It burns without oxygen and very violently when all the energy in the battery is released and you cannot use water on it either and the fumes are ultra-toxic. Thankfully these are rare with western quality batteries.
