  1. Hero worship or should I say actor worship is something very american. But only in America actors become politicians. This makes America very prone to populism (because being an actor is exactly this) and Trump proved it but he wasn't the first and will not be the last. The problem with this is people see the role and think this is the human behind it. Ignoring that the text is written by someone else. Ignoring that the role was not designed after the artist. Result people have a totally scewed picture of the actor in their heads and vote accordingly. The latest and worst example of this sorry series of bad decissions: Herschel Walker. And there is a 2nd component to this: Americas idea of a good person / a succesfull person. The only thing counting in America is wealth and popularity. You need at least one of both most get automatically both. It doesn't even matter how you made it just that you have. And this makes a good person? This makes a good American? This lie of a dishwasher to millionaire made up to give people the impression they still have a chance with a probability happening less often than you having the chance to win the lottery. That work is what leads you to success? That everyone plays fair on an equal playground? Sadly no. You need wealth and/or fame.
