  1. Do you know who decides how received money from blue states is distributed? The governor. He controls where and how much is used. They all getting the money, but apparently they only doing the bare minimum and use the money for something else ... yeah pay for other bills allowing him to fund tax cuts for the rich. He is cheating normal Republicans twice.

  2. I was also suprised about this. Even the EU is more united between lose member states than the USA and the EU was designed to be united to the outside and diverse to the inside. Germany maybe comes closest to America also being a federal country and having states and states governments but Germany is much more united and integrated than the US. The laws are much more harmonised and although there are poorer states as well EU and the government doing their best to not let it fall apart with regional development programs. Also noteable is that states cannot set their own tax rates so states cannot rival each other same taxes across the country and parties cannot play politics with tax rates.

  3. Shared burden of costs for some or your taxes. Yes. But America is doing that from the beginning for all kinds of institutions to pay for schoosl, roads, bridges, firefighters, police, military, governments to manage everything, etc.
