  1. The Truth in their eyes is what they themselves believe to be true or maybe better what they want to be true. But that's not it. The Truth exists without you. It doesn't need your belief, it doesn't need your approval and you cannot change it. And if you ignore it harm is coming your way. It's other name is called Reality. Now if you would ask me: "What is true - or - the Truth then?" I would answer you: Informations, ideas and theories we could not disprove yet. Which keeps me on the save side and on the side of sanity. It's also the same approach science has been using to determine truth/reality. However to understand the deeper meaning of it and why it is so strangly worded you would have to read a couple books or join a some courses in philosophy I'm afraid. But you can shortcut here and just skip this (I still recommend it at some point) and just run with it. Try it out. Find a statement. Try to dispove it. When you can dispove it it was not the Truth.
