In the UK in the House of Commons (parliament) if you use a slurr you get a chance by the Speaker to take it back and apologize and if you don't do it you are forced out of the session for the remainder of this day.

Calm down. Republic just means "Has no King" which is something the GOP should be reminded of because they behave as if Trump is one. And this oversight committee tried to get some informations about Elon Musks actions. If he has nothing to hide why not speak to the committee?

The GOP in Congress surrendered America to Trump. They are not even aware that they have more power than Trump if they wanted to. Congress makes the budget. Congress makes the laws. Not Trump!

Another idea for Democrats: Misgender the Republicans in the committee. Just invert everything. And when they complain make it a topic. Like "Oh suddenly you care about pronouns and misgendering."

Commitees are chaired by the majority party. Make the democrats the majority party in the midterms and you get a democrat there.

I think the democrats could be a little more aggressive. Trigger them by saying "president musk" once in a while. Like "Why can't we talk about president Musk here?".

The world is already joining into the resistance. Tesla sells in Europe plummetted. Not just by 6% like all other cars but by 60% in some countries with the biggest markets. Australia has dropping sales. Canada has dropping sales. And people leave Twitter in droves. The EU sits together considering sanctions, fees and bans toward Musk for election interference.
