I think the only way capitalism can survive is by introducing UBI to keep the system running as it is and to properly distribute wealth by fair taxation (tax those who have the money, not those who can barely survive). UBI would be a base income for each citizen without exception or conditions or limits, simply everyone get it but you can only survive with this income, get basic needs covered but no luxuries or extras for that you need to work. It prevents you ending up on the street in a tent, freezing or sweating to death and to not get hungry or thirsty but barely more than this. The finance for this has to come from taxes of the people who get income/revenue from this. But at the same time it ensures their regular income even if people do not have extra wage.

  2. I'm sure you stumbled over the saying "The more you share the more you be plentiful" for a long time I pityful smiled at this statement and dismissed it as rubbish. But over the time and as I get older and more and more see how capitalism eats itself to the point of self-destruction the more I realize it being true. If the rich and wealthy not learn to share we (and this includes them) will lose everything. And it is also not the first time this happened. The last time was 100 years ago and it lead to the appearance of Fascism and Communism in the early 20th century because people could barly survive anymore let alone have a decent life. Maybe it is a political ideology coming up which will radical change society to even things out, or it will be a dictator exploiting the anger of the situation to grab power and throw everything into a war (Hitler did this, Mao did this, Stalin did this, Trump tried this (but not yet succeeded thanks to Covid)). Maybe the poor will revolt and riot and just take everything away the superrich have ... this way or another scociety will recitfy itself if need be with violence. The only solution: Learn to share, stop hoarding all your life just to realize at your deathbed you wasted your life accumulating wealth you have no use for once you are dead.
