There is a theory out there that this overvaluing all started when Trump failed to buy the Buffalo Football Club. Trump needed to prove he actually has the wealth to pay for it and sustain it but he couldn't reach the value and had no paperwork. He provided an article of Forbes as "evidence" of wealth. So he realized he need documents for the next deal or loan and it's assumed this is when he started to overvalue for prove of wealth and undervalued for taxation as needed. And it just gotten worse and worse over the years.

Years of therapy when they realize Trump was the one betraying them. And when they realize how much they sacrificed for Trump. Elections, support, money maybe even breakups to friends, collegues and family even over arguments about Trump.
