Wait what?! The border force is trying to prevent an audit in their own finances and used 1.4 mio of tax payers money to a private law firm to prevent it? Why is it worth 1 mio to protect a secret? Extremly fishy. Further investigation warranted.

No this leads to more costs landing on your shoulders because you have to pay more and more privatly. This is only good for the rich and this is why they advocate for it. The solution is the same solution we always had against corruption: Transparency and accountability. You just have to do it preferably forced by regulations and laws and heavy fines for breaking them. And we just heared they wasted 1.4 mio to prevent transparency. Do you see the connection?

It is the perfect strategy when you intend to protect the status-quo (change nothing) while pretending to "protect" voters from something (as if the GOP would care). Because their only and real policy: Make the rich/donors/themselves richer is rather unpopular at the moment.

Democracy - Power by the people from "demos" ancient greek for people and "cratos" ancient greek for power. Sorry mate ... no religion there.

It is sometimes so absurd that not even Hollywood would accept it in a script, refusing it as "unbelievable".

They hate 2 things like every human but they react quite strong on them: 1) Being called out in public ... especially with their own words 2) Mockery

We will see if 83 mio is enough to make Trump comply with court-decissions and simply shut up about this topic.

A lot of people still think Drag is some kind of lapdance. The ignorance would be funny if it wasn't for all the discrimination and hate created by this.

Well ... still a lot to improve upon.

@bl4ckkn1g8t5 How should that even work? Reduce taxes but in exchange everyone has to defend the border for a week once per year?

True. Solution vote in the primaries for better people. Note: The >primaries< !! not the general election. In a 2-party system like the US only the primaries decide over "more of the same" or real change. But they not really want you to realize this for obvious reasons.

Interesting suggestion. And when you run for the first time for office? Don't misunderstand me I like that we actually beginning to talk about solutions here. Because most of the problems in US politics go back to money in politics by legalized bribery (donations).
