  1. Analysis: 1) Trump is a narcissist - Almost a text-book example and can be seen throughout his life. Narcissists are created during childhood as a defensive mechanism but degenerates in adulthood into something problematic. 2) Narcissists are goal-orientated - Only the goal matters and they take every measure to reach it including amoral means, lying, cheating and illegal means when they think they can get away with it. 3) Trump wants to be president to stop the law enforcement against him and do what he accusses Biden of: Influence law enforcment by the DOJ to cancel his federal cases and to make him immune to law enforcement to stand above the law like a tyrant or king. 4) People like to be told things they already believe and things they like reality to be (wishful thinking) 5) Because of 1-4 Trump tells people what they want to hear. Give them a good feeling. If true or not is not really important. He even promise contradicting things to different people just to attain power and/or money. This way in politics is called Populism - telling people popular things. But Populism is almost always based on lies and empty promisses. There is no delivery or underdelivery of promisses. They simply cannot deliver because it is build on lies - incompatible to reality.
