A major problem is that different people use religion for different purposes - Some really believe and find comfort and purpose in it - Some do it for the feeling of community or perhaps because they have a lonely life otherwise - Some do it because they think they can help others by it - Some practise it only because their parents did and they always did and never considered any other way - Some do it to have attention - Some do it for money especially these millionaire and billionaire TV-priests - Some do it to have control over opinions and perhaps even control to a degree - Some do it because it makes lying easier by pretending this comes from god, scripture, etc. - And some use it to make other people vote them The problem is all say "yes we want more religion". But as someone who tends to the beginning of the list do you really want to be in the same group as the latter? Besides. Noone forces you to believe and noone forces you to quit and you can believe in whatever you want to believe in. That is Freedom of Religion. So why do you think do most religions lose congeration these days? And why do some suddenly think that is not enough anymore and they need to force people to believe and tell people what to believe?
