@barbargetsinger3855 The danger is when you stop pointing out the lies. It has been ignored for too long and the result is Trump. The danger of trying to deplattform Trump and ignore the lies is that the lies manifest because noone is challenging them. This leads to a very devious form of manipulation called Confirmation Bias which is very dominant amongst Trump-supporters. Confirmation Bias is when you hear the same lie from multiple sources and/or often enough. At some point you believe it yourself because noone is challenging it. And because most people are too lazy to fact-check statements for truth or simply don't know how or don't trust outside source enough. People have nowhere to turn to find challenges to this. And it's worse: You surely heared the statements "never trust MSM", "CNN is always lying", and so on. This is an attempt of Trump-supporter to prevent others from hearing the truth or at least challenges to statements who could make people think twice and check further. People only get to hear one version and since there is nothing else and no challenges ... have no other choice than to believe it.

The Republicans have a knife in their side called Trump. It will hurt to pull it out this way or another and the sooner the better because the wound is festering.

Than I suggest you start packing.

Republicans had a golden opportunity at the 2nd impeachment trial to get rid of Trump. It was perfect. 4 years away from the next presidential elections, 2 years from the mid-terms enough time to fix things. But they wasted the opportunity. At this point I would recommend Republicans to help disclose Trump and his administration as soon as possible so people lose trust in Trump. Tell the truth, help law enforcement with evidence of misconduct and maybe even criminal activities. Let the investigators and law enforcement system run it's course. The sooner voters see Trump was horrible the sooner they let go of him. What's the saying: The Truth shall set you free. It will hurt to pull out Trump but the sooner this happens the longer the Republicans have time to fix things. If not they will continue to be vasalls of Trump kissing his ass forever allowing Trump to control them and losing voters in the center and if they not kiss Trumps ass on the right side as well. It hurts face it. It's just a question of how much and when. EDIT: And it can get even worse: When law enforcement take Trump to account without their help or even implicate them in the process the could lose all. Because they are branded as accomplices of a criminal.

Take it to the courts. I'm sure Republicans are more than happy to have evidence. They tried so hard for so long and I'm sure if they had something good they already presented it. I mean 60 court case attempts at the highest courts the country has to offer with most of them even with Trump appoined judges ... I'm sure they can't wait for YOUR evidence.

Why. Because there are still 72.5 mio people who voted him. And half of them still believes Trump.

Because he places himself above the country.
