Agreed. There are only a handful among 100 people who are able to make a comprehensive speech without needing a script. Especially a scientific one. Biden is one of them, but he is not the youngest anymore and for his age he is doing wonderful. Trump needed a teleprompter because without it he sounded like a 5-year old. However I'm a little astonished about the wording. And I'm not sure he it's really her own script. I mean okay Trump also got his speeches with the telepromoter written by someone else but I don't quite can shake off the feeling she does not feel comfortable reading this but in any case it unprofessional and does not suit a director of the CDC. Phrases like "I'm scared" or "impending doom" does not belong there. If I didn't know any better I would say she is made to say these things ... exactly like that ... to enforce the impression Covid is a hoax. Who is benefitting from this type of strategy?

550k dead is not Doom and Gloom. It's real. And this is JUST THE OFFICIAL number, the real one is even higher, but we need a year or two to get the relevant data for the statistics to get the real numbers.

That's US CDC Director? She disredited her position just by using the phrase "impending doom". It's highly unprofessional and sounds like ring-wing rhetoric to spread fear (or make it appear so ridiculous that noone ever listens to the CDC anymore). Who is making her say that? Qui Bono?

@mrhakz330 Biden did take care of Covid. The US is now the Top 1 in vaccination on the hole planet. And while Trump vaccinated only a couple 100k people Biden now reaches 3 mio per day. Biden promised to vaccinate 100 mio people by June. He reached this already in April and now promising 200 mio by June. He not only delivered but overdelivered and now promise even twice as much. Biden promised financial help for people. Biden delivered 1400$ for more than 90% of US citizens. Not quite 2000$ but you can thank the Republicans and DINOs for that. They threatened to block the bill (and in the end still tried). Biden promised financial help for small bussinesses like Restaurants, Cafés, Pubs, Cinemas, Theaters basically all who suffer the most under Covid. He delivered it. Biden promised financial help for schools so they can stay open and be made safely for teachers and children. He delivered it. Biden promised help for child poverty. He delivered it. Or more precise is currently delivering. And all this without help from the Republians who even tried to prevent the hole package. AND NOT ONE REPUBLICAN voted for the bill. The Democrats needed to do this alone with Budget Reconciliation. And now Republican States are so blind, so ignorant and learned absolutly nothing in the last 12 months and open up too quickly and too prematurely. Result: The numbers stopped going down despite extended vaccination. The only thing which keep Corona in check is that Biden is vaccinating like crazy or the number would be exploding again. Biden did in 6 weeks more than Trump in 4 years. Cancer? For over 50 years humanity looked for a cure and a politician should find it? Biden never promised or even hinten to promise he would cure cancer (for that he would earn the nobel price for medicine). What scientists say is that the innovative new technique used by Biden/Pfizer (mRNA) might bring progress and new possibilites for healing cancer. But noone ever promised anything.

Some scientists said the innovative methode the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine uses called mRNA may provide new ways to fight cancer and other deseases. But we digress. Well I leave you with that. You obviously only believe what you like and don't believe what you don't like. Maybe, just maybe try to "know" instead of "believe". You desperatly look for ways to not like Biden. Do you know that the resistence and protection to Corona by vaccine takes up to 10 weeks to take full effect? You are not suddenly immune by taking the jab. And worse you can still carry and transmit the virus and unvaccinated people can get the same way ill as you without the vaccine. You are better protected and you most likly not get seriously ill if at all, but you can still infect others for a while. And to make matter worse. The more dangerous Corona variation from the UK B1.1.7 is starting to spread in the US. Why do think Europe is fighting with rising numbers in the last 6 weeks.

@facepalmdaily4404 There are people who got Corona litterally days after the getting the jab. Not deadly but still. Yes you get immune but not immediatly, that's my point you intentionally overlook. And the facts that she even uses "impending doom" is highly unprofessional. Noone in that position should use such words.

Why Do you get your second shot 10 weeks after your first shot when they saying this is because after the first shot you get only 80% protection that's why you need the 2nd shot later again to make a full 100%. Maybe you were missing a couple details here.
