The right to have any opinion you want without going to prison for it or being discriminated. What it does not give you is the right to change the facts better known as lying.

@seemyeyesview9037 You are right sometimes new facts are discovered but politics is not Quantum Theory. But for the sake of this conversation stay on this: Scientsts found some facts / evidence in nature and started to think about it. They made a theory about how things work. But his is just an opinion. An opinion based on what was found on facts. If new facts come up and scientists detect a disrepency between their theorie (their opinion) and the new facts they check it and check it again and if the new facts turned out to be true ... they change the theory or in other words change their opinions. The same is happening in politics, economics, finance, doesn't matter it's always the same. Any theory (opinion) is acceptable until proven wrong by facts. This even has a name: It's called falsification and all scients work after this. Or should I say should work after this. And this method brought us this far. It's the reason for technology of the 21st century. And here is something burried you might overlook which is extremly important. In Science to change the accepted opinion you must disprove an existing theory/opinion. You can't prove your own theory simply because you of course want it to be true so you might "adjust" the prove (facts) in order to confirm your theory. Science discovered this problem and decided to instead say "everything is acceptable as long is it's not disproven". This solved a lot of problems with biasness. And it's also the reason why the middle age was running backwards (to the classic age). Because people just believed things often the things someone told them to believe. The Renaissance re-discovered this approach from the classical age and modern science and engineering was born.

I agree. It's easily exchangable against someone else. And there are more people at Fox you are not much better or should I say worse.

Prove it.

Investigations on this are running. Maybe in context of Gaetz.

I would prohibit "Fox News" as a threat to national security.

Prove it or shut up.

@vincentdevecchis8322 Give me your best example for it. With details and link. I really mean it. If they lie to me I want to know.
1
@vincentdevecchis8322 I looked at your examples but I can't see lies and I'm a little disappointed. I can see opinions which didn't come true but not lies. A lie is when you change the facts (news/reality). When somone says "Donald Trump will not be president" that's an opinion. When someone says "it's impossible that Trump will be able to vaccinate people before the end of the year" That's an opinion not a fact. You cannot lie on opinions only on facts. Opinions might not come true but you can't lie about them unless you pretend you have opinion A but you actually have opinion B. But that's not a lie since you can have any opinion you like and are even allowed to change it. And everyone is entitled to have an opinion CNN same as Fox News same as you and me. And the thing with the kid is really your best example? Someone misunderstand a child with a hat and reacted unproperly? Come on. I said give your best example and lying on a facts (= on reality). For example if you say "The Moon is made out of cheese" is a lie because the moon is made out of moonrock. I thank you for your effort and try to paste links. But so far I'm not convinced.
1
@vincentdevecchis8322 Yeah terrible what happend to this kid. One "mistake" from one story from hundreds every week. I'm shooked, terrified, discombobulated. That means CNN must be lying on everything. [sarcasm] Sorry still not convinced. But If I find a really bad case I might change my mind. To say I trust CNN fully would be an understandment. It's just one of 10 news sources I use more than half from outside the US. And if Trump really did only pay 750$ or not as tax is still open the investigations are still running. The tax returns are only accessible to investigators right now. On Trumps wishes. He could have made them public like Biden and Obama and almost every other president before him did.

All companies making adverts on Fox.
1
Trump wants to cancel a hole list of companies for having an opinion. Trump wants to cancel a list of Republican Politicians because they disagree with him. The Republicans wants to cancel fair elections because the only way for them to stay in power is cheating. Who is canceling here?

You making the accusation. The burden of proof is yours.

Free Speech allows every one of us to have an opinion without being discriminated for it or even going to prison for it. It DOES NOT give you the right the change the facts better known as "lying". Fox Opinions is doing that all the time.
1
@reggaedubmon1947 I'm willing to listen because if they do I want to know. Give me an example. Your best one please. I promise to check it out if it's any good.

You mean Tucker's Opinion. There is only opinion. They say so even before judges. It saved them already a couple of times for legal consequences. They just not disagree with you thinking this is news.
1
"Tucker Carlson is a millionaire payed by billionaires to shape public opinion." Fox Opinions is washing themselves clean every single time before a judge by saying: "We give opinions as some kind of entertainment for our viewers" Translation: We tell our people what they want to hear, not what they need to know. And since Freedom of Speech (including Freedom of Opinion) is free most judges let them go unsinged. What I would like to see a judge do is forcing Fox Opinions to clearly declare and seperate news (fact) and opinion. Meaning whenever they say something which is not fact they have to precede it with "In my/our opinion ..." to make clear what comes next is an opinion ... their opinion. Not facts.

Or you are so "brainwashed" that you cannot see it anymore. Intrestingly. I agree with you to a point. I'm not sure he is. It's very likly he is just payed to say these things and personally he doesn't really care as long as the money is good.
