  1. Frankly this is not good. That you can escape insurrection by a technicality and oversight on the law. There is WAY too much interpretation room in US constitutional law. It really needs fixing.

The base principle here is people who try to destroy democracy by overturning the will of the people (elections) should not be allowed to run for office. Period.
