What they show is "cognitive dissonance" It's when people have contradicting stuff in their heads and cannot make heads or tails out of it anymore. It's like a rupture in reality and brains have a hard time dealing with this.

The reporter should ask them about the 1400 $ checks they getting and the financial help for their school and small bussiness in their hometown. And ESPECIALLY that Republicans ALL voted against it and they have to thank the Democrats they not voted for to have this.

It's rather new as far as I know. And I don't think it was used on such a large scale ever before. Tens of thousands of clinical tests but not this huge. So new and innovative that scientists hope it can help with other uncureable diseases as well and with cancer.

It couldn't wait. Are 500k dead (officially, the inoffical number might be twice as height) not enough for you. At some point the risk of taking a vaccine is dwarfed by the costs of not distributing it. Still the world is vaccinating millions every day since january. Don't you think at some point if there were serious issues it would have come up long ago with so many people taking it?

In the comment above was a comma after the star. That's why it didn't worked. Place the comma or point before the star or make a space between it.

Thats okay and fine ... until their choice hurts others. Their kids for whom they do this decission as well, or friends, family, co-workers, school-kids who contract Covid because they had their personal choice. The Freedom of your will ends at the point where the rights and freedoms of others are hurt. And that's the point where society must act even against personal freedom, especially if the life is endangered.

What about their kids? How many need to die or heaven forbid having to deal with long-Covid for the rest of their lifes because of the distrust of their parent and the misinformation their parents are being feet for decades.

It looks like the US outside the larger cities stopped progressing sometime in the 50ties to 70ties and since than stagnaged. And now politically holding the US back like an anchor in the last century of Reagan economics. 50 years long the Republicans drained the wealth out of the US and hurt especially the progression of these people ... and they still vote them every single time. They litterally voted to make their life worse, and voted their future and their children and childrens-children away and dragging the hold country down with them by continued support for corruption and greed by the Republicans.

That's maybe the best way to convince such people. Show that it's nothing big and nothing bad and harmless. The only thing those people have lack of is trust. And trust is not easy build once lost.
