  2. He doesn't care if his party is the majority or minority he just wants his "safe seat" and safe income, access to high-level donations for obstructing on the Democrat-side (same as McConnel). He is at best serving himself and at worst his donors which are probably the same who pay McConnel.

  3. It would made no difference if he votes from the left or the right side of the chamber the result is the same he votes with the Republicans. And this is not like the UK, where people can have "their whip removed" and lose party membership when voting "against the whip" (meaning against the party line), start being independent from than on until their mandate ends. And I don' think the US has bi-elections for members of Congress.

  8. Before you know it Manchin wants that we do what Trump says. Manchin is a Republican agent. A collaborator. An appeaser (appeasement policy). He does not belong on the Democrat party no matter how many donations he secures. He is a threat to his own parties future for all Democrat Senators.
