I saw an informative 22 min video about the Theory of Stupidity yesterday. And I immediatly recognize what this is. They checking up if Gibson belongs to them or to the "others". They checking if he is subscribing to the groupthink. I have to say I always thought malice is scary but not as scary as stupidity.

I usually try to avoid clips like this. For the same reason I try to avoid making-offs because it ruins my illussion I have about actors. I know it's not real. I know they have their real life and opinions but I don't want to spoil movies I like by hearing what they really think or do. I know this is reality-denial to a degree but I want to hard seperate fiction from reality on this and think that is acceptable to do.

I have to agree David. You doing good clips and don't need to exaggerate. And I know clickbait works for a while. But everytime I notice I got duped I trust the channels videos less and consequently tend to ignore videos. The more often I do that the less often YT suggests videos from that channel. With BTC it got so bad that I refused to watch any of his video for a while because he overused it so often and still does.

Watch some videos about the "Theory of Stupidity". This theory can actually explain this partly. The money leads to a sense of invulnerability and "know it better" attitude. Subsequentially people deny deviant opinions and form a bubble around which makes their opinion even more solid. And they refuse to listen or accept new or deviant informations and can even get aggressive on them.

Thank god I stopped this clip early enough. Just reading the other comments is telling me when I view this to end I will never be able to watch ten movies or so with Gibson I like ever again.
