The basic procedure at the border has not changed from Trump to Biden since Biden is only 6 weeks in. He changed a couple orders from Trump by executive order but the hole system from Trump is still in place and need Congress to be changed or the Supreme Court can overturn it any time.

  4. Imagine you are border patrol. You find a kid of 12 years ... alone ... no money, injured, weakened, in rags in the middle of the night at the border. He or she cannot go back to where she came from it's physical impossible. Could you personally send them away knowing you most likly signing their death-warrent? There are not millions, just a couple hundred to thousand. They not making any difference among 330.000.000 people. But if they survive, get educated, you have thankful hard-working tax-paying citizens who grow into adults like everybody else.

  12. What the right-wing media currently shows is actually Trumps legacy. Just a reminder. Biden is 6 weeks in office. What do people expect? That Biden within 6 weeks of being president not only move into the White-House, make his Cabinet and Administration, dealing with Covid and Relief Packages and immediatly start building larger facilities within 6 weeks?

And you cannot change the system this quickly. You cannot extend or improve the facilties much in that amount of time.

  15. If you got the minimum wage and the immigrant besides you get the minimum wage, what's the difference? If your employer pays them not the minimum wage and lay you off instead because you demand minimum wage your employer is criminal because noone can go below the minimum. And if you cannot live on the minimum wage you get. Your immigrant co-worker has nothing to do with it, he get the same miserable minium wage. The wage is just not enough, or your employer is too greedy. Or the Republicans laws they made are unfair to you. But your immigrant co-worker did not made those laws and cannot change anything on this. Unless you two go into a trade union and demand more pay. Or vote Democrats to get more minimum wage, more working protection and more worker rights. But instead you choose senseless anger and vote the very people who keep everything as it is. Don't you realize. Getting rid of your immigrant co-worker doesn't change a bit.
