Comments by "Aaron Okeanos" (@AaronOkeanos) on "Republicans Taking Credit for Stimulus They Voted AGAINST" video.
That's actually the problem: Noone is checking how lawmakers they vote into office have actually voted on policies. If people would do that they probably would be appaled how their own representatives voted against their voters interests. It's labeled "Republican" and they vote it no matter what's in it. But there are even some Democrats who should be hold to same checks and proved to be establishment almost Republican in how they vote for policies.

You know in Europe the "libs" (the Neo-Liberals) are not leftists, they are centrists almst right, people standing for bussiness and self-employed people so actually more what the "Republicans" are. Liberals are actually that what Republicans are. They want low regulations, lean state, low state influence and minimum taxes. That's EXACTLY what Republicans want. So re-align your political compass and check what you say. "Liberals" are not what you want. Their goal is to cheat on workers, consumers, customers, taxes in order to maximize profits this is what they call "liberal" = free to do what you want (to maximize profits) = free to exploit and cheat the system without someone restricting them.

@billithekat1088 The political compass in the US is completly misaligned (to the right) but that's the plan. If you make people believe the right is center/normal then everything even slightly normal is left. Add to this a constant fearmongering of "The Left" and people actually think everyone "normal" is left and it helps keeping people away from "normal" because people think the "normal" is the end of the world. Result: Trump and Insurrection. This misalignment is in progress for decades almost half a century already starting with the Cold War after WW2 and created an intrinsic fear from "The Reds" (aka Communism). In addition to that people can only think in black and white it seems. Democrats or Republicans. No shades of grey and worse: So called "Footballification" meaning "all who are not in my team are hostiles" and "all in my team are always good and always right". Both dangerous habits and easy to exploit as Trump as proven. This simple world-view is used for centuries to avoid responsibility (I was only following orders) and to make people overlook that in every group there are good and bad people, that's why everyone needs to be evaluated individually, not by race, color, gender, sex, religion, class, wealthy and so one because bad apples are to be found everywhere, but the right-wing bad apples hide in the masses intentionally because they made it extremly easy to hide among them under the cloak of "patriotism".

@BarnacleBoy42069 I know this is not Europe but having a wider perspective is showing you how distorted politics in the US actually is. If you see something from only one perspective you may think everything is "normal" because you seen it all your life like that. You never realize that what you see is actually bad ... because you don't know it any other way.

@timothysmith1838 What's the difference between a liar and a total liar? ... on second thought don't even bother every answer you could possibly give is wrong. You need a wider perspective! Someone telling you the truth is not lying only because you don't like it. And it also makes it not a lie just because you don't like it. Keep in mind: There is only version of facts/news ... the truth, but multiple views (= opinions) on this. You can have your own opinions, but the facts never change not for me and not for you ... you can only have a different view on it. You can of course decide to ignore the facts. That's called ignornace. If you know the truth and still decide the facts that's called willful ignorance. Lying is by definition someone who knows the truth (or decides to ignore it) and still tells lies about the facts. Learn the difference! The sooner the better. If you don't like what I say this means you disagree with my opinion, but disagreement is not lying. When I tell you false facts or change or leave out facts ... that's lying.
