And how does this affect the outcome. Biden still had 83 mio votes. That's 8 mio more than Trump (for you this means Trump's 6 mio extra and another 8 mio on top of it). More than any other president before including Trump.

There is actually something to this. It's called the Investor Syndrome. I'm sure you all know it. You are convinced with a little invest you can make a million by investing just 1000$ into a goldmine. You pay and a little while later they want 100$ more because of new problems. And since you already payed 1000$ you are much more willing to pay the additional 100$ more. The same is true with Trump. 5 years of your life you believed this guy and every word he says. And over the time the lies got worse and worse. But since you invested so much time and maybe even money (donations) into Trump you continue believing him because the alternative would be to admit you have been conned and betrayed on the extreme. You don't want that of course so you decide to ignore or even fight everything which undermines your beliefs because it cost you so much already.
