@pickledellies That's rubbish. You vote a party not because they are left or right you vote them for their policies. If a right-wing would make sensible policies I had no problems voting them. And I also have no hesitency to not vote left when they mess things up. If you blindly vote because you "feel" you are "ideological" more inclined to them you make yourself hostage to them. That's wrong in so many ways. Vote by policy, not by ideology.

In reality you can rarly drive faster than the intended limit anyway. 1/4 is speed ristricted and 1/4 is in construction and 1/4 is congestion which forces you down to the intended limit.

@martialme84 You create 50% more CO2 while driving with 180 compared to 120 ... only to be 5-10 min earlier at your destination. Ridiculous. And just so you know. I am a Motorbiker and I know what speed is and would sorely miss it too.

Name a policy which is bad. And be honest about it.

@pickledellies Well than we are back at square one. Name a policy of the left which is really bad.
1
@pickledellies You mean the policies are okay but you just not like the people voting with you? Man you got problems. Maybe you should rethink that, only policies matter.

The real left "Die Linke" barely managed to reach the minimum of 5%. They lost voters to all parties. Translated: The people want "social" but not "socialism".

Well the Greens are Left as well. They share all the goals of the Social Democrats and go even further on some things especially on environmental stuff.

@SevenOfNineteen Or this Populist from Bavaria. The moment I saw his photo-ops in front of the Chinese Masks I knew what he was. And he is the only one who is considering coalition with the AfD to get power.

cervellone People especially insecure people seek what they perceive as "Strength" or "hiding-behind-a-broader back". This is what happened with Trump in 2016. The irony Trump is weaker than most and is only perceived as strong.

AfD lost a 1/4 of their public vote compared to 2017. EDIT: And keep in mind for Americans even the CDU would be a left-party.
