  2. I would be interested how the future relations will develop under the background of reducing fossile fuel usage due to climate change. Reducing the usage of oil will certainly change the trading and importance of Saudi-Arabia in economical sense and regarding trade. Strategically Saudi-Arabia was always a potential "base" in the Middle-East but all conflict more or less started with the issue of oil. So how will this change? And how will the future in general of desert countries in the middle-east looks like with a large reduction in oil usage?
