  1. Not quite. Europe is peaking currently that's why most of the countries there are in their 2nd or 3rd lockdown now or a lightweight variation of it. You must keep in mind it takes 2 weeks before a lockdown begins to affect the numbers. However if this continues unhinged in the US the situation will get out of control and the hospital begin to get overwhelmed to breaking point. That's when also people not having Corona starts to die because they don't get their treatments or emergency operations any longer.

  2. Imagine how 2 crashing airplanes per day would be reported in the media instead. And it is two airplanes per day currently.
