  1. Pro-Tip for your rally-reporter: If he can (medically) ... try to do it without the sunglasses you get much better responses from people because they can look you in the eyes. For a real interview I would ask them take theirs off as well but I guess that would be too much ask. Notice how both participants keep looking around aimlessly because of a lack of eye-contact.

  2. He is a 92 yo easter european billionaire who might have donated some money to left-leaning politicans in the past. But the key why they mention him is ... he is a jew. The Right-Wing media makes him up as some kind of boogeyman. I think to cover up that there are a ton of much more powerful billionaires on the Right like Rupert Murdoch the owner of Fox, the Sun in the UK and some newspapers and Sky Australia of course. Ironically Soros is of no importance to anyone on the left, noone cares. So whenever you hear him mentioned you can be 100% sure it's someone consuming Right-Wing media.

  4. A child-tax credit is a step in the right direction however it has a serious flaw: You only benefit from it when you pay a certain amount of taxes or any taxes at all. Much better would be what some European countries implemented a monthly payment for each kid. Germany for example raised it this year to 270$ per child per month. These are the things which really helps especially poorers parents, single parents, etc. and convince some of them not to abort a pregnancy.
