My god what's so difficult to just give it a simple slogan in 3 words? Have you learned nothing from Trumps Era. Unless you can put it in three simple words the masses are forgetting it within 3 minutes. Call it "Improve the police" or "Reform the police" to keep it simple and straight. The person first using "Defund the police" had obviously planned to manipulate the people to "fear" the people against the democrats by giving them the wrong impression or in other words lying to the people. If you not learn from the mistakes leading to Trump and the things Trump made you are doomed to repeat it and worse next time. This is what I fear now happens with Biden. Nothing was learned from Trump. They keep doing what they done before Trump as he never existed. Change nothing and keep doing what they done ... enable another Trump. If they not seriously change policy and pick up some things from the progressive left next time America will lose democracy for sure. The democracy needs more protections. The elections needs more protections. The constitution needs more protections. The presidency needs more restrictions. The emergency rigths of the president must be overthought. The impeachment of the president must be be overthought. The transition of power between presidents must be put into law. The combination of The House and the Senate must be overthought to prevent stalls like now with 600 bills in limbo. The role of the supreme court must be redefined to stay out of politics and legislature. They are the judiciary, they are watchdogs of law and democracy and the constitution not a 3rd arm of the legislature. It needs new rules for presidents usage of social media. It needs new rules for speaking the truth by legislatures in the parliament and committees. Not only the witnesses needs to be sworn in but the legislatures as well. The postal service needs stricter rules to prevent the repeating of the autums disaster. The elections laws must be partly federalized to prevent politicizing the process in favor of a certain party. The filibustering must be abandonded. The party donation system must be completly redefines to keep outside money influence out. The party financing system must be completly redefined for more balance and less outside money influence. And if you ask me. The hole election should be changed into a proptional voting scheme. Abandon the 2 party system. Allow more parties. Abandon gerrymandering and financial influence via budget. Allow coalition governments and changing the model to a cooperative and consensus based decission making to enable more stable laws and governments.
