  1. The vaccines which have been approved for adults don't get automatically approval for kids. That's a second round of approvals because of special needs for children.

  2. In the UK currently the Indian-Variant starts to spread. And the main spreading happens with children because they are not yet vaccinated. They will most likely not die from it, but they are a perfect vehicle to infect everyone else not yet vaccinated.
