  1. Just simply expanding is way to shortsighted. What's preventing future presidents to just do the same until 99 judges sits there ... for life. It needs much more reforms, reforms which are fair for all no matter who is president or which party have the majorites. Politics must somehow get out of the Supreme Court it's supposed to be a watchdog for the constitution and a firewall for democracy against the executive (president) or legislation (Congress) to make sure noone is above the law and noone tries to overturn the system. To make it more clear for normal people. It should be the umpire of the game. And what happens when the umpire is partisan? Yes outraged fans and unfair decissions.
