@uncockblockable1235 If they don't pass this the Republicans can continue to use the state legislature to undermine the democratic vote ... and they (Democrats) are potentially not elected anytime soon. It's as simple as that. Even the centrists should have an interest in passing this or the Republicans will make sure the Dems are not voted anytime soon again. I would expel everyone from the Democrats who do not vote for this bill. They are either corrupt, secret Republicans or simple have the wrong mindset for the Democratic Party. In any case they support the Republican party indirectly and vote against democratic principles and should therefore be banned from politics ... at least on the side of the Democrats. And everyone from the Republicans not voting for this are against fair and correct elections and are therefore against the US Democracy ... no matter how much they say they want to protect it. They simply lying. This bill contains laws which are standard for most of the western democracies it's strange the US still havn't them.

Most countries would actually see this as a breach of privacy. How you vote should not be known by anyone unless you tell them yourself. But the information what you vote can only be used to manipulate voting boundaries e.g. in gerrymandering. The information what you vote should be made secret like it's in most modern democracies and especially the state/government should never get the information how you vote, especially in democracies which don't have proportional voting. Especially in modern times with Internet and Social media this information can and probably is used for targetted advertisement e.g. on Facebook. People have no idea how dangerous this is nowadays. Some parties in other countries pay millions to get a hold on this information nowadays and need to be very careful not to get caught doing this because most countries have forbidden this kind of databases.

Why is the majority in the Democratic Party even allowing those people to stay in the party. They clearly are way to close to republicans and are a threat to their own party. Expel them, cut their funding, remove any donations to them. Don't give them any valuable posts and don't propose them as candidates anymore. It cannot be that the largest danger to the party are some party members.

Why the hell can the 2nd chamber block bills 100% from the main Parliament the House? 2nd chambers are normally used as revising chambers. And why the hell can the senate where someone from Rhode Island representing a small amount of people has the same vote as someone from Florida with multiple times the amount of people have the same weight? This is highly UNDEMOCRATIC because the minority dictates over the majority. No wonder the US is getting nowhere for the last 70 years!
