  1. From my observations of American politics over years I noticed one thing: Missing consequences. You can apply this to almost all facets of daily and political life. Cops running around with immunity, politicans doing bad politics and still getting elected, rich people getting away with crimes or weak punishments, lying on the media without consequences, lying in campaigns without consequences, lying in congress and government without consequences, corruption barely enforced and if with weak consequences, bussiness breaking regulations without consequences, white collar crimes has barely consequences ... and when there are no consequences or only weak ones people keep doing it. Whenever humans are freed from the consequences of their actions it is exploited and begins to corrupt.

  2. The moment Trump is not afraid of the law anymore he can and will suppress protest and dissent with force. The longer you wait and the longer he gets away with this without consequences the harder it will become to resist peacefully.
