In a Democracy the majority decides. 1) Bills are passed in the House with a simple majority 2) Bills are passed in Senate suddenly only with a 60 seat support However 2 only works when the party has either 60 or more seats or when people acting reasonible in the minority and put country before party and actually vote for it. If you don't like this, make better policies so more people vote you. ... Or Change the system of lawmaking meaning the Senate-part which is so obviously undemocratic when a single senator from a single state can block everything.

  2. As if Republicans wouldn't if the roles were reversed. When the Republicans can use Filibuster to block and delay any progress for the country, why can't the Democrats use this to get things roling (litteraly)?
