  1. The Republican Party sealed it's fate the moment they acquitted Trump in the 2nd impeachment trial. They should have used the opportunity to make a final line under Trump. It might have hurt a bit, but they would have had 4 years to fix this. Now Trump will rip the party apart piece by piece in order to stay relevant and to fix his bruised ego and to try to not leave this world as a loser. Add to this the incoming generational change (retirements) and so on in the next years ... and the Republican Party will not even closely resemble what it was ... ever again. The best thing America can do now is let the current Republicans disappear split the centric wing from the Democratic Party to form the new Republican Party. They still hold the values of the Republican Party and they have no place among the Democrats anyway. I would also recommend the US to think about changing the system into proportional voting. This would allow a multi-party system and coalition governments and such things. It would improve the representation of the public according to their preferences. It would give legislation more cooperation on policy and therefore more stable lawmaking. It would end gerrymandering, disporportional represenation in the parliament and a lot of other side-effects of First Pass The Post. It would also allow the upcomming of new parties, e.g. a Green Party, a Party of Bussiness, an extreme left and right party maybe a real Trump-Party as well. And everyone can vote who they want. Vote-Splitting is not an issue anymore.

  2. Have you seen the video about Trump Voters and vaccine in Boulder Colorado? The opinion is already turning against Trump day by day. He astonishingly now is labeled "only a liberal New Yorker" and "why should they listen to him." And the more corruption of the Trump-Administration becomes visible the more people will remove their support and even claim they were never Trump-supporters in the first place. What currently looks like Trump being King-maker could finish the careers of all who end up on Trumps list. It's poison not holy water what Trump is spreading around. I don't mind. All Trump sycophants are the worst of the worst of Americas politicians and should never be allow to be politicians let alone Senators in the first place. It's just a bunch of greedy, corrupt, selfish people who place themselves before country.
