The Right-Wing Playbook 1) Wait for times with a lot of problems when people begin to feel afraid maybe even fear. 1b) If you can enhance the problems so more people feel afraid, fearing or having anger and make people more vulnerable for point 2 and following. 2) Ban, hamper, ridicule, discreat all information sources and people who are able to tell people the truth. This is a necesarry step for point 3 and following. If you can own and/or control the information sources so you can form the opinion yourself. 3) Give people a target for their anger, so they not by accident turn it against you or against something you don't want to. If you can try to make everything from point 2 a target as well. 4) Exploit the situation by leading the anger-crowd, fuel their anger so it may grow to hated. Make them their hero, their leader, so they give you money, power and control over them. 5) Maintain your position by repeating point 1b to 4.

  2. There are two ways to counter this strategy - which is by the way used for millenia. Only the means and the scale changed through the centuries. A: Ensure there are no problems or issues making people (humans) feel afraid or threatened. Give them jobs, happiness, satisfaction, peace. The more you provide the less vulnerable people are. And make sure at no point people feeling "existential threat" which makes them open to the right-wing rulebook. B: Ensure Point 2 from the list above is not possible. Ensure the truth, have freedom of speech, freedom of press and make sure noone can lie without consequences and being responsible for the lies. Ensuring this mean the people can make reasonable decissions and direct the anger to the right target so they can be corrected in case strategy A already failed and there are problems or even fears already. See B as a security net for A.
