@comradedawid5292 So for a few woke wackos you want to discriminate all LGBT people? Because this law extends to every gay, lesbian and bi people, regardless if they believe in this non-binary BS. And are you really willing to give up on your democratic institutions (like Orban is currently to do) just to piss off 0.002% of the population?
3
@marcdc6809 I fear Russia will never be a Western "democracy". Navalny is a crazy nationalist.
3
Well, it seems like the EU made us weaker on the world stage. We are just the US lap dog while carving out for China. If you believe in European power, you are deluded.
3
@somerandompersonidk2272 It's more about authoritarianism. And on LGBT issues, China is definitely right-wing.
3
I have nothing in common with an Am*rican
3
@scasino9358 LOOOOOL Imagine thinking you can change Brussels by voting LMAO
3
@bloodfiredrake7259 Yes, thanks to the ones who refuse to respect the laws, the cultures and the values of our nations. They had the luxury to live in a prosperous and safe society but chose to spit on it.
3
@lba7362 What do you propose instead? Austerity? The same thing that has been bleeding Europe for the last decade?
3
@fallendown8828 Your comment reeks ethnocentrism.
3
Nah, he does care about Russia. He's highly ideologically driven and nationalist. Like how is this war benefitting him on a personal level?
3
As ChrisGrump said, it was either him or Le Pen. Both options are shit. I personally didn't vote during the second round. My candidate didn't qualify (Mélenchon, populist left, ~21% of the votes IIRC) after the first round. Since the left was divided, the vote was split among too many irrelevant candidates (the socialist candidate had like 1 or 2%, the communist candidate had maybe 3% and the green one had 4%) which combined could have sent Mélenchon to the second round instead of Le Pen. Many people don't vote anymore because our voice doesn't matter, it's always boomers deciding for us by electing neoliberal stooges.

@bearcubdaycare I heard American operators don't last long because they keep killing civilians and they end up depressed 😔
2
Yet, the Greens want to shut down nuclear power plants which are currently our best transition energy source.
2
@andrewrobinson2565 That's actually a wrong explanation. The impure blood is the one of the enemies, not the revolutionaries.
2
@andrewrobinson2565 Have you really read it? La Marseillaise is a war song, it is bloodthirsty by nature. Apart from the "qu'un sang impur abreuve nos sillons" (impure blood), there are references to throat slitting, breeding soldiers to replace those who have died on the battlefield, vengeful arms and sacrificing yourself to honor your ancestors.
2
Foreign policy is what matters the most to you? Do you live abroad? And even if you value foreign policy over the rest, what about the submarine contract with Australia that was cancelled in favor of the US? He did nothing. Did you also forget how he sold off parts of Alstom focused on nuclear technology to General Electric? Now we have to buy it back for 12 billion dollars more! He's ruining France and he isn't defending our interests but only his and those of America. This term had brought nothing positive, it was filled with corruption, scandals and attacks on our welfare state. You are the reason why France is crumbling, you guys have no working memory.
2
And France is closer to the UK or the US in this regard.
2
@slimy6316 Nope. He's 100% unironic...
2
@Kuolonen Except anti-missile shield can render Russia's nuclear arsenal useless and there's one in Poland.
2
@connorh2215 Xenophobia and racism are different. Modern racism does comes from the West with the slave trade, scientific racism and colonialism.
2
Don't bother looking into French politics. It's a hellhole which will make you even more tired of humans.
2
IDK either. I'm so tired of my country and the political "discourse" that has been turned into a shitshow thanks to the few billionaires owning the media and giving the spotlight to people like Zemmour (backed by Bolloré, a billionaire who owns several TV channels).
2
This. But each euro we invest there, the US spend thousands of dollars more to destabilize them.
2
@seejur Meloni also changes her mind, look at immigration.
2
They exist but this channel seemed to have forgotten them.
2
You're sad it's not a Chinese one? 😔
2
Tell me you don't believe this 💀
2
The legislative elections don't have any effect now. They are held right after the presidential election and the winning candidate's party gets almost all the seats. The other parties can't win because their voters are demoralized.
2
@badaboum2 It was Sarkozy who invaded Libya (he wanted to make evidence that he received Gaddafi's money disappear). But Hollande went to war in the Central African Republic, Mali and funded/armed rebels in Syria.
2
I don't want to be rude but America does the exact same on a way larger scale (Cuba, Iran, Venezuela etc).
2
I suppose there aren't enough Danish people abroad to have special overseas seats maybe 🤔
2
@patami2222 Article 49.3 has only led to the fall of one government in 60+ years. It's definitely in favor of the president and executive branch, as other said because the president can threaten to dissolve the National Assembly.
2
Yeah, the fire is still burning.
2
Not that different. Pretty sure what Nexta is publishing is considered "state secrets" by Belarusian standards.
2
Garlic Pudding So give back the money. We in the West aren't Putinist so you should accept this too and leave.
2
@toromontana8290 lmao sure putin will come and steal your toothbrush
2
The current design is incredibly boring and lifeless. In a way, it accurately captures the EU's spirit. An entity without humans made of only faceless buildings, a cold bureaucratic empire that only exists to promote trade and economic exchanges (bridges). There's nothing special about it, it only smashes together all of our cultures and heritage to create some kind of low quality ersatz.
2
@coolthief8375 Right wing parties which have been slashing welfare spending for decades?
2
@lati long It's a confederation, so yes, I do consider myself a European citizen when fellow Europeans are attacked.
2
@editrees2667 There are also ans mainly issues about democracy and the rule of law.
2
That's popular in comparison to other European leaders.
2
@someonewithaphone3108 I think East Asia was somewhat ready because of previous SARS outbreaks. But yeah, the rest of the world messed up. Same story with climate change which will have even worse consequences.
2
Maybe. I think people are tired of this new "Macron vs Le Pen" trope pushed by the media and unreliable opinion polls. They maybe want the old "Socialist Party vs Les Républicains" back.
2
@gogolghosh5426 Looking at the number, it is. The situation is still horrible and it shows how hypocritical the West is but it's a low intensity conflict.
2
Huh? You really thinks NATO and the US "do things the fair way and support human rights"? 🤣
2
Are they wrong though?
2
Can people remain calm? We survived 2014 and the annexation of Crimea, we will survive this.
2
Then it's clear we don't want them.
2
I don't get why he's not considered a technocrat?
2
TLDR is notoriously bad at predictions.
