Nuclear energy is great to get rid of coal, ask France, Sweden, the UK or conversely Germany. But in Australia, solar power seems like an obvious choice but you need to a way to get electricity during the night...

I mean, it's kinda apartheid's fault. It gave the ANC its glory...

Yeah, he should focus on his birth country instead of Twitter...

@CatfishShotgun Independents/third parties (Greens, LibDems, SNP) also get elected in the UK despite having a FPTP system. I don't really see a major difference between ranked voting and FPTP in terms of results. With ranked voting, votes still coalesce around the two main parties while it's much harder for smaller parties to get elected since they aren't the primary vote. I prefer a fully proportional system or like Germany, a mix of FPTP seats and proportional party lists. But better yet, more direct democracy.

Netanyahu isn't an anomaly, the "state" he governs is crafted to put a man like him in power. It's built upon imperialism, colonialism and militarism, of course they won't ever stop, especially since "they have God on their side" and "they suffered a lot 80 years ago".

@SelfProclaimedEmperor 1) Apartheid officially ended 30 years ago not 200. 2) Neocolonialism is still a thing. Who do you think bribes the ANC? Foreign companies/individuals.

We can't really expect support after how they were treated by colonizers. Colonization only achieved one thing: make the world hate the West/Europe...
