  3. No, ending the Kim dynasty would completely destabilize North Korea. Kims are a necessary evil to ensure a peaceful transition. North Korea should follow China in terms of economic development with special economic zones.

  5. Reunification can mean a lot of things. I personally envision a "1 country 2 systems" policy with at least several decades of convergence before any serious reunification.

  8. You're right, as a rather clueless foreigner I support reunification. I think Korea should be whole again. Not immediately but as a long term goal. There are many ways to carry it out, not all of them have to be NK being a burden on SK. With foreign investments and joining the international market, NK could catch up with the South. At least, there should be a way for North Koreans to live better lives.

  9.  @zhenghao123  No one wants war. At least not me. I want cooperation between both Koreas and international aid to help North Korea catch up with South Korea in terms of development. I don't want a Vietnam style reunification (war) or a German style one (annexation).
