  1.  @donnarichardson7214  All languages do this when borrowing foreign words, adapting them to their own set of grammatical rules. Pretty sure you don't use all the different declensions with Latin words in English.

  2. Apart from "men, women, children" and "lives, wives etc" which are very frequent words, I absolutely hate irregular plurals. I find them unnecessarily pedantic. We aren't speaking Greek, Latin or Italian but English. We should just add an 's' and call it a day.
