  5. Yes but this CO2 accumulates through the years, tipping a well oiled machine which was stable for years (the carbon cycle). We humans only emit CO2, we don't absorb it. Trees and the oceans can't take it all in. If you needed a proof that we're fucking everything up, the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere today is 150% what is was before the industrial revolution.
