For real, what is wrong with white people. Why would you be ashamed of it? Are they trying to claim victim status even though they are represented everywhere? 💀

I sort of dislike her. She's the kind of people to cancel anyone online and talk over minorities about their own oppression. You know, the offended on your behalf type.

 @TrueOrigins1618 Well, she should know that not everyone grows up in the same environment and with the same access to anti-racist knowledge. Especially white people. This is one of the things I hate about the woke crowd. The complete lack of empathy and this sort of "holier-than-thou" attitude. We are all shitty inside and we all evolve in a shitty society. They shouldn't act morally superior.

 @emiliegee7669 Girl you're cringe...

And it still has consequences now. Where do you think racism comes from? Some white people just woke up one day hating anything darker than flour? No. It's the result of many things among which slavery, colonization and segregation.

"White pride" is definitely a far-right motto. Nobody is really ashamed of being white (except woke white teenage girls on Twitter who act offended on behalf of other races). It's like being proud of having two arms, it's weird. If there's a Black pride or a LGBT pride, it's because these people were taught to be ashamed of themselves, they weren't taught the history of their communities and are actually seen as inferior by many, many people. Pride in this context is really about countering shame, oppression and erasure.

 @valentinamasei7777 Stop putting words in his mouth. He said he doesn't like the words "proud to be white" or "white pride" which are tied to white supremacy and extreme racism. Also, there's not a singular, unified white culture. There are many cultures stemming from Europe and Americans have no rights to claim them as theirs when they are just boring WASPs.

I mean, Japanese culture isn't a race either.

Depends on the context and intent, we shouldn't be pressed about it all the time, it's mentally exhausting and it takes too much space in the media that should be focused on much more important things for the Black community 🤡

Huh? If we don't know where racism comes from, how do you expect people to go past it?

Thank you! Americans like her think they can lump every "white cultures" together... Honey, no one wants to be associated with you and Americans.

I mean, there's Black music (Gospel, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Rock'n'Roll, R&B, Rap) and Black food (Soul food) but I still see your point. In non-white communities, you kinda have to prove your Blackness or Brown-ness and it can be tiring.

"White people have no culture" is most of the time a joke and when it's not, it means that white people are not a cohesive group unlike Black people in America. White Americans prefer to showcase their ancestors' nationalities and as a source of cultural identity (Italians, Irish, WASPs, German, French, Jewish). As a European, I don't really feel any personal or cultural connection with the Anglo-Saxon culture of America and I don't like it when Americans act like European cultures are somehow theirs just because they are white.

Yeah that's so weird ðŸ˜

They probably only knew the basic definition of racism which is like "being mean on the basis of race and the N-word".
