@DoctorDoomsPvP America has dense cities too. No one is talking about building a metro in rural Wyoming. But the public transport in Chicago, one of the biggest cities in the US pales in comparison. As for the "demographic issue", are you talking about how secluded neighborhoods are? Well, we have some of those issues in Europe too. We still have a strong public transportation system.

@KB-ke3fi The Founding Fathers definitely intended that every American should own an AK-47.
160
Yes, I think so. Also gender and colorism.
69
How is it sad? Extended family is the main source of drama.
19
This is like magic to me. I love the "multi-dimensional latent space" prompt. It's like if the AI was asked to paint its inner-working, its brain, its soul.
18
@Dumbledore6969x You literally derailed the conversation from gun control.
11
@KB-ke3fi These laws have to be nationwide in order to work.
10
Exactly. As a European, it was pretty strange and scary to see a random dude shopping with a gun on his belt or to see guns being sold in Walmart while no one bats an eye. I think the US will never have a comprehensive gun laws.
6
The Holocaust survivor bit may explain why Israel is a paranoid state.
6
@ph8429 Not Americans acting like they defend freedom 💀
6
@chikalikedis8170 It's "normal Muslims" who brought pitchforks to have the teacher fired or hurt. Islam is messed up.
5
"1% of its population lives in prison camps" So less than America.
5
Nice individualistic mindset 🙄
5
@ElGrandoCaymano Britain was still relatively unimportant by the 16th century.
4
It literally starts with the words "We the people".
4
@SailorDee That's still every movie in the MCU except the first Iron Man.
4
Good. Because Bernie isn't actually advocating for "extreme socialism or communism" whatever the label he gives himself. He's advocating for a basic welfare state that us Europeans and most of the developed world already enjoy.
3
@ElGrandoCaymano Britain wasn't really important during Antiquity or the Middle Ages...
3
@faustman1000 That's why you have a local government, a state senate, a state governor. Don't act like you're directly piloted from DC.
3
@drew427 "Trump has frequently granted executive clemency to his supporters or political allies" "Most individuals granted executive clemency by Obama had been convicted on drug charges, and had received lengthy and sometimes mandatory sentences at the height of the war on drugs."
3
Like the US?
2
More like "Why are they everywhere?" about Hebrews.
2
No, for injecting disinfectants in people's lungs.
2
No?
2
Intelligence and technology is part of human evolution.
2
I mean, LA definitely looks like it needs a decent public transportation service.
2
Public transport. Denser urban areas. Less desolate suburbia. More walkable cities...
2
@electron8262 6 parties all owned by big money, coming in different flavors. You will NEVER have actual representation.
2
Yeah no, it's because Progressive Dems voters don't show up in elections.
2
@Sam-wp1zq False dilemma. There's a middle ground between isolated suburbs and shoebox apartments.
2
It's already the case, both in sanitation plants and for your aquarium.
2
@jazzysoggy12 No, it's calling out hypocrisy. Suddenly the West becomes a beacon of peace and love when it has been doing what Russia does forever and on a larger scale.
2
Sadly, suburbs got popular...
1
Honestly? We should thank China for implementing this policy, India should have followed their steps, so should Africa and the developed world. Population booms are dangerous, especially at a time of resource depletion and climate crisis. The world population should be around 2 billion people MAX, not 10 billion (we're doomed).
1
No, he first mentioned UV light and then talked about disinfectants separately.
1
No, we don't. We also have to decrease our populations. The whole world needs to. The world population should be around 2 billion people MAXIMUM.
1
Exactly.
1
It will never happen in the US, the people are too polarized and guns are way too common. It may sound insensitive but mass shootings victims are just a tiny number of people dying each year, the US should focus on diet/taxing junk food to death.
1
How he labels himself doesn't matter that much. What matters more are his plans. He advocates for welfare and socialized healthcare which are both things that capitalist nations like Denmark and Sweden enjoy.
1
Seek help 🙏
1
@rolandolucasrojastorrico87 What about automation? Robots can take the manufacturing jobs while a sizeable part of the population will work to take care of the elderly. You can also have the elderly work for longer. Many other countries also have a shrinking population (Japan, Italy, most of the developed world actually), they're doing okay.
1
Natural background radiation levels vary a lot, so it's a question of whether it's in the acceptable range.
1
@ViewAndChew Americans are truly weird.
1
Exactly... I'm tired of our hypocrisy
1
What about in air filtration? The UV-C light doesn't escape and all the air is getting sterilized? A bit how water filters work.
1
@piotrnowak9904 Most realist Russophobe:
1
America had those decades ago. They just purposefully destroyed it.
1
@asmrjackunboxinggames4328 What's even more wrong is having a very high population AND over-consuming resources. Which is exactly what China, the US and soon India are doing.
1
@autisticscreechling4950 You think China and India should continue to grow their population indefinitely? You guys live in another dimension or what?
1
Similar numbers. 30 to 40k each year. But at least, you need to pass a road test in order to get a driver's license.
1
Good, we don't need it. Keep voting for 1% candidates so that Republicans lose.
1
@sdarling6518 A tweet is a human right abuse?...
1
No, it's meant to show what the billionaires want and fool people into thinking they consent to unjust policies. Do you really think the people is represented by these ghouls?
1
Blablabla.
1
LOOOOOOL. Human societies have crumbled many times before, I don't see how we can avoid our current ongoing collapse.
1
I swear to God he's born old 😭 Bless his soul.
1
Hamas killed 700 civilians and 400 soldiers...
1
@SirPoppss Reports say the opposite. Russia makes more than it loses on the war.
1
@SirPoppss Y'all kept saying that the Russian economy will tank back in February and March. Don't get me wrong, I'm against the war in Ukraine but wishful thinking is not enough.
1
@sofiaglove Please, don't you dare talk about "peace and love" if you're American. And we don't have nearly enough renewables for this winter and no one wants to go back to the pre-industrial era when we were freezing to death.
1
@b3at1 Yes we are. No one did anything about Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan so why should we give up everything for a war that happens thousands of kms away?
1
@bazileia9222 If you don't know about Russia's accomplishments in science and technology, you're clearly ignorant.
1
@BenDover_69420 Do not waste time with these delusional keyboard warrior. They're completely out of touch with reality.
1
500 million max.
1
@joeforza "Rare occurrence". Happens once a month or so.
1
@jaxturner7288 People definitely think twice before ending their life if they don't have a "clean, quick and easy" way to do it. Guns increase the number of suicides.
1
@Joe-sg9ll Ah yes, today's Europe is a huge dictatorship because it has no guns meanwhile the US is definitely a sane paradise with no state overreaching thanks to its 120 firearms per 100 people...
1
@antishulk Australia needed a wake up call in the form of a mass shooting to change its mind. Meanwhile, the US has grown desensitized to massacres in schools.
1
They should only seek East Asians, multiracial countries don't fare well.
1
I think military food is (or was?) irradiated to preserve it.
1
The actual answer: the Juice
1
One in particular. 2% of the US population, more than half of the government.
1
Failed states often have high birth rates though.
1
Elections and protests are useless though, look at the West. Nothing changes when people there vote or march.
1
@cesarpro2363 The US has funded terrorists and "rebels" in Syria and it has installed a military base there.
1
@sharpfangs37 It doesn't justify anything, just that people should be just as offended by what America has been doing all around the world for decades and should also call for boycotts and sanctions. But no, us in the West are the "good guys".
1
@cesarpro2363 Proof? The military base is called At-Tanf and you'll find plenty of articles about how the US armed and trained rebels in Syria and "moderate Islamist groups" that turned out to be terrorists. Not even talking about how the US invasion of neighboring Iraq led to the rise of ISIS. The US is just as evil and imperialist as Russia, if not more.
1
@jaxjax2011 Comprehensive gun control reduces homicides and suicides. Owning a gun makes you way more likely to act on your suicidal thoughts. I know that if I had a gun, I wouldn't be alive today but thankfully, I never had a "quick and easy" way to unalive myself. As for killings, the US has the highest homicide rate among rich countries. Unfortunately, I don't see this changing anytime soon, Americans love their guns too much. Who cares about kids, amirite?
1
What are the dangers of plastic pollution though?
